Keratoconus (KC) is a thinning disorder of the cornea that causes distortion and reduced vision.
Dry eyes can make contact lens wear uncomfortable, creating additional problems for those with keratoconus who must rely on contact lenses to correct their vision.
Keratoconus is a non-inflammatory eye condition in which the normally round dome-shaped cornea progressively thins causing a cone-like bulge to develop, resulting in significant visual impairment. We will look at the causes, symptoms and diagnosis.
